Join us this month for a masterclass on jazz improvisation lead by Kranzberg Arts Foundation Resident Artist and Webster University Alum trumpeter Kasimu Taylor! This will be an intro to improv clinic, topics covered include building ideas, reading chord progressions, chord scale relation, and active listening in a band setting.

This will be our maiden voyage, 1pm on Sunday August 19th at the St. Louis World's Fare & Heritage Festival!

Sir-Cus is a new music landscape created by trumpeter Kasimu Taylor, in collaboration with master percussionist Matt Henry and top STL bassist Ben Wheeler, the group explores world & Afro-Beat infused improvised compositions, creating a lush pad of pulsing organic grooves.
